Transition Rm 2, 3 Day Rm 2, 3 Day Pm

This is my third year teaching at Hanna Fenichel. I am a 3 day am/pm and transition teacher in Room 2. I love our school community and feel rewarded to teach in a Reggio-inspired environment. One of the biggest things I have learned throughout my time at Hanna is how children are capable of constructing their own learning! I love my job because I can learn and collaborate alongside the children every single day.

I was born and raised in San Bernardino, CA. I attended California State University Northridge where I received a bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development. While attending university full-time and working part-time at a gym, I maintained internships at several preschools and was actively involved in child development clubs/organizations. Despite this rigorous schedule, I met the love of my life during my junior year of college. We moved to Carlsbad in 2012, got engaged in 2014, and married October 10th, 2015! We have a four year old Chihuahua/Jack Russell terrier named Ziggy. In my free time I enjoy hiking, kayaking, tennis, traveling, going to the beach with friends, and exploring beautiful San Diego with my husband.
